This action involves the production of a study on successful experiences in Europe using Information Technology (IT) and data analysis to monitor government procurement. After the study, representatives of the Comptroller General (CGU) will participate in a mission to European government agencies whose activities are related to the regulation and management of government procurement and control over the administrative activities of the state, including public procurement. These visits will enable the exchange of experiences in the construction of performance models for each country / agency and will comprise meetings and presentations on each specific field of ??expertise. The purpose of this action is to learn about the best practices of European models of public procurement management and control – with an emphasis on the use of IT to support control activities, as well as to share information on the Brazilian model. Considering Brazil’s progress in this field, this action will provide a rich exchange of experiences with Europe and the consolidation of important channels of communication between the partner institutions.
