Project Overview:

The Project aims to contribute to strengthening the EU-Brazil investment relationship in sectors relevant to sustainable development through the publication of the second edition of the Brazil - European Union Bilateral Investment Map.

This map creates an opportunity to highlight the historical relevance of the EU-Brazil investment relationship and to develop a technical dialogue on the green and digital transition.

The figures and trends identified in the publication provide useful information to guide the different actors in the EU and Brazil on how to stimulate and channel foreign direct investment (FDI) in sectors relevant to the transition to a climate-neutral, green, competitive, and inclusive economy while boosting trade growth, job creation, the transfer of skills and technologies, increased productivity, access to international markets and qualified insertion into global value chains.

This dialogue is in line with the new Trade Policy Strategy, the European Green Deal, the EU Industrial Strategy and the Action Plan on Sustainable Finance.
