The objective of the action is to prepare a study on the evolution of e-commerce, centred on the retail sector, for small and medium enterprises in Brazil and the EU, with a view to identifying best practices, the related business settings, changes in behaviour and key challenges, in addition to public policies under development in the EU and Brazil, as well as promoting a comparative analysis of the two settings and offering recommendations for Brazil.
The action led to a study by two contracted experts published in e-format. The study was presented at a public event held in Brasilia by the Secretariat of Commerce and Services (Secretaria de Comércio e Serviços – SCS) in May 2016.
