Project Overview:
BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology is one of the main tools to improve processes in the architecture, engineering and construction industries. Due to its importance, BIM is considered a strategic component in the Greater Brazil Plan (PBM). A federal government project is already underway to implement it and disseminate it across Brazil.
This action includes a study by two experts, a Brazilian and an European one, to assess the implementation of BIM in Brazil and in the EU, both in public and private institutions. The goal is to draw a comparative overview that can inform policies and identify the potential for strengthening the bilateral partnership in this field The presentation of findings will take place in an event to be held in Brazil.
