Study on the Brazilian and European Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Industry

Project Overview:

The action strives to build on current knowledge on drones – unmanned aerial vehicles industry – by identifying best practices and key policies for development of the sector in the EU and Brazil. In addition, the initiative aims to explore potential collaboration between the two sides in this field.

To meet this objective, the following measures will be adopted: a detailed study will be prepared on the state of the drone industry in Brazil and the EU; study tours will be conducted to European firms engaged in the manufacture of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as regulatory agencies and research and development institutions in the sector; and visits will be sponsored to public and private Brazilian institutions dedicated to developing initiatives in this area.
